About the course
The Master of Research at Victoria University is a supervised research degree completed in 18 months, focused on health and sport. You’ll build capability in research ethics and project design, then deepen research methods or a discipline component aligned to your background. After meeting progression requirements, you undertake an independent research project in your chosen area within health and sport at masters level. The programme develops advanced clinical reasoning, health leadership, and evidence-based practice for complex care environments.

Graduates can pursue pathways into research-oriented roles across health and sport organisations, institutes, government and industry, or progress to further higher degree research study.
