About the course
This interdisciplinary dual degree combines population health with social change and development to help you address complex public health challenges through policy, practice and research. Designed for professionals across health, community development and social policy, it builds advanced capability in evaluation, epidemiology, biostatistics, health promotion and development studies. You will learn how social, economic and political forces shape health and equity in a Master-level public health and social change programme.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for mid- to senior-level roles in organisations working in population health, social services, development and policy. Career paths may include public health advisor, population health manager, health or social policy analyst, program evaluator, and program coordinator or manager in health, social services or development settings. The degree also supports research-informed practice through skills in evaluation, community engagement, research design, epidemiology and medical statistics in a Master-level public health discipline.
