About the course

CDU’s Master of Engineering builds on prior engineering study to help you upgrade your qualifications while developing leadership and research capability. Offered full-time or part-time, the course can be completed online or on campus and includes hands-on learning with a focus on sustainability, design, teamwork and innovation. Developed with industry input, it aligns skills with professional engineering expectations at master’s level in engineering. The programme strengthens advanced engineering design, systems analysis, and innovation management for complex industry projects.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue professional engineering roles across civil/structural, electrical/electronics or mechanical areas depending on specialisation. Opportunities include design and construction, infrastructure and water projects, electronics and telecommunications, renewable energy and power systems, manufacturing and automation, and engineering consultancy. The course also supports pathways into project management and industry leadership roles as a master’s-level engineering qualification.
