About the course
This course develops advanced knowledge and practical skills for careers in nutrition and population health. You study human nutrition alongside public health and food science, drawing on areas such as biochemistry, physiology, epidemiology, psychology, sociology and policy. The program builds capability in research and evidence-based strategies to address nutrition-related issues across individuals and populations in a Master-level nutrition and public health qualification.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles applying nutrition science and population health approaches across government, community and industry settings. Career pathways may include nutritionist roles, health promotion and public health nutrition support positions, program planning and evaluation, nutrition policy and advocacy assistance, and roles in research support, food and health organisations, and community-based prevention initiatives.
