About the course
The Master of Nurse Practitioner is a part-time, externally delivered program for experienced registered nurses seeking advanced clinical practice and leadership as a nurse practitioner. You’ll build advanced assessment and management capability, including referral, prescribing and ordering diagnostic investigations, supported by a supervised professional practice component. Online study is complemented by short, on-campus residential teaching periods at UQ. This is a Masters qualification in Nursing.

Graduates are prepared for expanded-scope nursing practice and leadership across diverse healthcare settings, managing patients with acute and chronic conditions.
