About the course
QUT’s Master of Engineering Technology is a one-year coursework degree designed to extend existing engineering capability through advanced engineering technology practice. You can tailor your study with specialist streams such as smart transport and mobility, water engineering, renewable power, robotics, bioprocess engineering, and digital and robotic manufacturing, supported by industry engagement and applied projects. It is a masters-level engineering qualification.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue advanced engineering technology roles across infrastructure, transport, water and environmental systems, manufacturing, energy and renewables, and robotics-driven industries. The course’s industry project and capstone research components support pathways into engineering consultancy, systems and process improvement, automation and digital manufacturing, water modelling, sustainable technology implementation, and technical leadership roles. This is a masters-level outcome in engineering.
