About the course

The Master of Engineering Management is designed for engineers moving into leadership and management roles in engineering-focused organisations. Delivered with input from Sydney Business School, it builds contemporary management capability alongside the technical, professional and environmental dimensions of engineering projects. You study core areas such as engineering logistics, project management, modelling of management systems, strategy and financial management for engineered assets, with electives to tailor the program. This is a Master coursework degree in engineering management.

Career outcome

Graduates are prepared to manage engineering assets, projects, operations and teams across sectors such as infrastructure, resources, manufacturing and services. Typical roles include project manager, asset manager, operations or plant manager, procurement manager, quality or reliability manager/engineer, risk and safety manager/engineer, design manager, business manager and management consultant. The degree supports progression into senior management positions in engineering-intensive organisations. This is a Master coursework qualification in engineering management.
