About the course
The Master of Construction Management combined with the Master of Property is a multidisciplinary double degree designed to prepare graduates for commercial and professional roles across construction, property and the wider built environment. It develops capability across property valuation and analysis, construction and project management, and the development and management of property, supporting work on urban developments at city scale. The program emphasises integrated understanding of the built environment profession to broaden employability and professional flexibility.
What you might learn
The course aims to build advanced skills in analysing and valuing property alongside technical and management training for construction and project management roles. Students develop knowledge to coordinate all aspects of the building procurement process on behalf of clients, either within private project management firms or client organisations. It also aims to cultivate professional practice capability in a property context with a contemporary, cross-disciplinary perspective.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles in construction and project management within medium to large general contracting companies and specialist project management consultancies. The property component supports careers in property analysis, valuation-related work, and roles connected to property development and asset management.
