About the course
Landscape Architecture Studies is an undergraduate major focused on creative, design-led approaches to improving the quality of environments. You’ll build ecological and design skills and explore how landscapes can be planned and shaped across urban, regional and natural contexts, while tailoring your broader studies to areas that matter to you. This is an undergraduate programme in architecture and the built environment. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
This major supports pathways into landscape architecture and allied fields involved in planning, designing and managing outdoor environments. Graduates may work with public agencies or private consultancies on parks and open space, urban renewal, ecological and environmental landscape projects, and community and recreation precincts. It can also provide a foundation for further study towards professional landscape architecture roles within the built environment sector.
