About the course
The Master of Audiology Studies prepares you to qualify as an entry-level audiologist through integrated study of audiology theory and applied clinical skills. You’ll learn with experienced educators and researchers and undertake substantial supervised clinical placements, including at UQ’s Audiology Clinic and other partner sites. The program also includes an opportunity to complete research to contribute to clinical audiology as a master’s coursework degree in audiology.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for work as clinical audiologists supporting hearing and communication across the lifespan. Career pathways include roles in public and private audiology clinics, hospital and community health services, rehabilitation and disability services, and educational settings. The program’s extensive supervised placements help develop job-ready assessment and intervention skills, leading to strong demand from employers for master’s coursework graduates in audiology.
