About the course

This master’s degree prepares you to work as an allied health professional in hearing and balance across the lifespan. You’ll develop clinical skills in assessment and rehabilitation, including a focus on First Nations ear and hearing health and practice suited to regional, rural and remote contexts. Study includes compulsory clinical placements and several intensive on-campus teaching blocks at CDU Casuarina, with flexible part-time, online and face-to-face options. This is a Masters coursework programme in audiology.

Career outcome

Graduates typically work as clinical audiologists assessing and managing hearing and balance conditions for children and adults. Roles may be found in hospitals, audiology clinics, ENT practices and hearing services, supporting diagnosis, hearing aid fitting and rehabilitation.
