About the course
Charles Sturt University’s Master of Ageing and Pastoral Studies explores ageing in contemporary society alongside pastoral and spiritual care approaches. You’ll engage with issues affecting older people, families and communities, and develop skills to support wellbeing, advocacy and care in diverse settings. The course can include intensive school components and flexible study patterns. This is a master coursework degree focused on ageing and pastoral practice.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles supporting older people in community, faith-based, aged care and wellbeing services. Career directions can include pastoral care practitioner, chaplaincy support, ageing services worker, community program coordinator, care/quality support roles, or roles in advocacy and engagement for older adults.
