About the course

This Diploma of Counselling provides an entry pathway into psychology, social work and counselling, building foundational knowledge and skills for people seeking to start or enhance a helping-professions career. It is designed as a first step for those interested in human behaviour and client support, and can prepare you for progression to CDU’s Bachelor of Psychological Science. This is a Diploma-level qualification in Psychology. The programme introduces counselling basics, community support skills, and behavioural science fundamentals.
