About the course
This advanced Diploma of Mental Health builds specialised skills to support people with complex needs in community services and healthcare settings. You’ll learn to work with diverse clients, deliver early intervention and health promotion programs, and use evidence to inform practice. The course also develops advocacy skills for clients with coexisting mental health and alcohol and other drug issues, supported by guidance from experienced industry professionals. The programme introduces counselling basics, community support skills, and behavioural science fundamentals.
