About the course
The Diploma of Information Technology Fast Track (International) is a UOW College pathway that provides guaranteed* entry into second year of selected UOW bachelor degrees in IT and computing. You will build academic and technical foundations across programming, systems analysis, networks and web technologies, while developing skills to succeed at university. The course runs over two 14-week sessions as a Higher Education Diploma in IT. The programme delivers hands-on programming, networking, and technical support skills for IT employment.

This diploma provides practical IT skills and a direct pathway into the second year of UOW bachelor programs, helping you progress toward professional roles in technology. Graduates may find entry-level opportunities while continuing their bachelor studies, such as IT support, junior web or software development assistance, and roles supporting networks or systems. It is a fast-track Diploma pathway for building a career base in IT & Computer Science. Preparing graduates for IT support, junior developer, and systems assistant roles, or degree articulation.
