About the course
The Diploma of Health is a one-year pathway program that prepares you for entry into a range of health-related undergraduate degrees at UC. You’ll build foundational knowledge and academic skills relevant to health study, helping you transition into areas such as health science, psychology, human movement and nutrition. The program is delivered on campus at UC College in Bruce and supports progression into further health studies at diploma level. The programme builds patient care fundamentals, clinical assistance skills, and health workplace practice.

This diploma is designed primarily as a pathway into further university study rather than a direct professional qualification. It can help you prepare for degree programs leading to careers across health services, wellbeing and community settings, including roles that may involve health promotion, allied health support, human movement or psychology-related work after completing subsequent qualifications. It provides a foundation for diploma-level study in health sciences. Preparing graduates for nursing assistant, care worker, and clinical support roles, or degree articulation.
