About the course
The Master of Public Health (Big Data and Decision Science) at UOW is a flexible one-year degree that builds a broad foundation in public health while developing data-informed decision-making capabilities. You will strengthen analytical and research skills to interpret evidence, design and evaluate public health responses, and support policy and program decisions across diverse community and health system contexts. This is a master coursework qualification in health sciences.
Career outcome
Graduates may work in public health units, government and NGO program teams, health services, and research or evaluation roles where data supports planning and decision-making. Career pathways can include public health officer, health data/analytics-focused roles, policy or program adviser, monitoring and evaluation specialist, and roles supporting population health initiatives.
