About the course
This degree provides an entry pathway to osteopathy, building strong foundations in anatomy and physiology and how body structure relates to function. You’ll learn about bones, joints, muscles and nerves, with teaching supported by biomedical science and health concepts and exposure to clinical settings. It includes advanced study of the muscular and nervous systems and prepares you for progression to postgraduate osteopathic training at bachelor level in health sciences.
Career outcome
Graduates gain foundational knowledge and pre-professional clinical experience aligned to further study in osteopathy. The degree supports progression to the Master of Osteopathic Medicine, the required pathway to registration as an osteopath in Australia.
