About the course
The Diploma of Engineering Fast Track is a UOW College pathway that gives guaranteed* entry into second year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at the University of Wollongong. You’ll study core first-year engineering subjects with a mix of theory and practical learning, covering foundational areas and exploring different engineering disciplines alongside maths and physics. This diploma is designed to prepare you for university study and progress in engineering. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
Career outcome
This diploma builds foundational engineering knowledge and academic skills to support progression into the second year of UOW’s Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). It can also help you enter the workforce with a Higher Education Diploma while you continue your bachelor studies. Graduates may find entry-level opportunities or support roles across engineering-related industries, preparing for further specialisation through an engineering bachelor pathway.
