About the course
This combined degree develops expertise in environmental engineering alongside accredited civil engineering capability. You’ll learn to create practical solutions that protect and improve environmental quality while designing and delivering infrastructure across key civil themes such as structures, transport, water and geomechanics. Study is delivered in person at Tonsley with integrated work placement and industry-focused learning, culminating in an Honours Bachelor and Master in Civil Engineering.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles spanning environmental and civil engineering in consulting, construction, resources and all levels of government. Career pathways include design or site engineer, structural or geotechnical engineer, transport systems engineer, graduate project manager and local council management roles. Employers may include design consultancies, government agencies, universities, building and construction firms, and mining and energy organisations, supported by Engineers Australia-accredited professional engineer qualification.
