About the course
This online Graduate Diploma in Public Health (One Health) develops knowledge of the One Health approach, recognising the interconnectedness of human, animal and environmental health. You will learn to apply trans-disciplinary thinking to understand infectious disease challenges and design prevention strategies. Flexible full-time or part-time study lets you build capability for practice in contemporary public health as a Graduate Diploma in Health Sciences. The programme develops advanced clinical reasoning, health leadership, and evidence-based practice for complex care environments.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles supporting public health and One Health initiatives across government, health services, research and non-government organisations. The course builds capability to contribute to infectious disease prevention, surveillance and health program development using a human–animal–environment lens. Entry is based on a bachelor qualification in any discipline (or overseas equivalent), or a UNE Graduate Certificate in Public Health (One Health).
