About the course
Build on your health sciences knowledge through an honours year combining coursework with independent research. You will develop analytical and research skills while working closely with an experienced supervisor, progressing from project design and data collection to analysis and reporting. Research topics can span areas such as community health, health economics, inclusion, sustainability, physical activity and wellbeing. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Health Sciences.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles supporting evidence-based practice in health organisations, government and community services, including research assistant or project officer positions in health promotion, policy, program evaluation and population health. The course also strengthens preparation for postgraduate study and research pathways by building capability in study design, data collection and analysis.
