About the course
This Graduate Diploma develops advanced knowledge of the physics and technology underpinning magnetic resonance for health professionals working with MRI. You’ll study in a multidisciplinary setting with input from radiographers, clinicians, physicists, chemists and engineers, and build specialist practical skills in image formation and scanner components. You’ll access a broad suite of magnetic resonance instrumentation and apply learning to innovative, practice-focused projects in medical imaging.

Graduates can strengthen their capability to work with and optimise MRI systems in clinical and research settings. The program supports roles that involve advanced MRI operation, protocol development, quality assurance and equipment assessment across different manufacturers.
