About the course

The Professional Writing and Publishing stream is offered within Curtin’s Graduate Certificate in Arts. It is aimed at people wanting to strengthen professional writing for corporate communications and develop editing and publishing skills for work in government, business and not-for-profit organisations. On completion, you may be eligible to transfer into the Professional Writing and Publishing major in the Master of Arts, continuing postgraduate study in writing and publishing.

Career outcome

This stream supports career development in professional writing, editorial and communications work across a range of industries. Graduates may pursue roles such as corporate writer, communications officer, content writer, editor or publishing assistant, particularly in government agencies, businesses and the not-for-profit sector.
