About the course
The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is a higher degree by research completed through an independent research project in the broad area of society and culture. Over two years full-time (or part-time equivalent), you work closely with an academic supervisory team to produce a substantial thesis or a creative portfolio supported by an exegesis. The course develops advanced research capability in Society and Culture at masters-by-research level. The programme emphasises independent research, methodology, and thesis development aligned with the discipline's scholarly standards.
