About the course

This Certificate I - IV course has been designed to develop foundational knowledge in the disciplines of commercial cookery, patisserie and retail baking. Students will receive training from industry experienced teachers in order to gain skills to be used towards future employment.

The course assists students to develop essential skills through core units such as menu planning and costing, food preparation and presentation and first aid, leadership and finance, so as to contribute towards academic knowledge required for a Bachelor degree or find employment in the industry.
