This entry-level qualification helps you begin a career in the music industry, building core performance and composition skills while developing your understanding of music theory and industry practices. You’ll gain access to studios and industry-standard software, and develop foundation skills for live sound operation plus recording and mixing. Training is supported by experienced teachers and practical, industry-focused learning in music. The programme trains digital design tools, visual production, and portfolio development for creative workplaces.

Graduates can pursue entry-level roles across live performance and music production settings, applying foundational skills in performance, composition and basic audio work. Possible pathways include working as a musician, supporting live sound at venues and events, or assisting with recording and mixing tasks in studio environments. This Certificate III provides a starting point for work and further study within the performing arts and music industry.
