About the course
The Bachelor of Creative Arts (Music) develops your creative practice alongside critical thinking and contemporary creative skills. You’ll explore music-making in a supportive studio environment while building transferable capabilities for creative industries and the digital economy. You can tailor your degree through the Music major and study on campus at Wollongong. This is an undergraduate performing arts degree focused on music. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates may work as musicians, composers, music producers, and sound designers or technicians, with opportunities across recording, live performance, creative production and arts organisations. The degree can also support pathways into music management, marketing/advertising roles in the music sector, licensing and arts administration; some careers (e.g., teaching or music therapy) may require further study. This is a bachelor-level pathway into music and performing arts careers. Preparing graduates for graphic design, multimedia production, advertising, and creative studio roles.
