About the course
This Certificate III qualification prepares apprentices for work as heavy commercial vehicle mechanical technicians through practical, industry-based training. You’ll develop skills to inspect, service, diagnose and repair systems on trucks, buses and other heavy vehicles used across automotive service and repair. Delivery may include on-campus, mixed-mode and workplace-based components, with RPL/credit options where applicable for eligible learners in the automotive trades sector. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
