About the course
This combined qualification develops professional engineering capability alongside project management skills. You’ll build high-level engineering planning and design expertise while learning to manage engineering projects through planning, stakeholder and risk management, strategy, resourcing, project control, procurement and execution. Study is available on campus or online across multiple CQUniversity locations, preparing you for an undergraduate honours-level pathway in engineering and project delivery.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles as professional engineers with added project management capability across infrastructure and industrial sectors. Opportunities span civil engineering (planning, design and maintenance of built and transport infrastructure and water systems), mechanical engineering (machines, energy and fluid systems, manufacturing and plant), and electrical engineering (power, telecommunications, instrumentation, control and electronics). The honours-level engineering and project management combination supports technical and project leadership careers.
