QUT’s Master of Professional Engineering is designed for practising engineers seeking advanced, contemporary expertise or a pathway into engineering management. You’ll build capability to lead complex projects, apply evidence-based approaches, and respond to emerging local and global challenges through advanced design, innovation and collaborative decision-making. Majors are professionally accredited by Engineers Australia, supporting professional engineering practice at master’s level in engineering.

Graduates are prepared for advanced professional engineering roles and progression into leadership or management positions across industry. Depending on your major, opportunities align with civil, construction, electrical or mechanical engineering areas, supporting work on complex projects and infrastructure, energy and power systems, industrial plant and mechanical systems.
