About the course

This Graduate Certificate builds practical systems thinking capability for professionals working with complex health and social challenges. You will learn to analyse systems, identify root causes and leverage points, and communicate insights using tools such as group model building, causal mapping and simulation modelling (including Deakin’s STICKE platform). Delivered online with a short in-person intensive, this graduate certificate focuses on leading change across health and community contexts.

Career outcome

Graduates can apply systems thinking to improve policy, programs and services across health and social systems. Skills in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, mapping and modelling support roles in government, NGOs, community services, health promotion, service design, research and program evaluation.
