About the course
ACU’s Graduate Certificate in Global Health develops advanced knowledge and practical skills to support global health and wellbeing with an ethical, social justice focus. You explore advocacy, cultural responsiveness, humanitarian assistance and sustainable development, and learn to use evidence to critique and implement global health actions, policies and interventions. The course can provide a pathway to further study, including articulation to the Master of Public Health.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles supporting global health initiatives across government, NGOs and international development settings. The course prepares you to contribute to health advocacy, program and policy support, humanitarian and community health activities, and work linked to sustainable development and nutrition or food security. It can also strengthen capability for progression into broader public health roles through further postgraduate study in health sciences. Preparing graduates for clinical leadership, health management, and advanced nursing or allied health specialist roles.
