About the course
This Certificate III qualification prepares you for work as a light vehicle mechanic in the automotive retail, service and repair industry. You’ll develop practical skills to perform a broad range of mechanical tasks on a variety of light vehicles through face-to-face training, simulated workplace activities and workplace learning. The program can be undertaken as an apprenticeship and is delivered in block attendance across multiple weeks over three years. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
