About the course
This Industrial and Systems Engineering major focuses on designing, installing and improving complex systems that integrate people, materials, equipment, energy, information and finance, while meeting quality, safety and environmental needs. You’ll study engineering design and analysis alongside engineering management, sustainability and industrial mathematics, building capability in modelling, simulation and optimisation for real industrial processes within an undergraduate engineering honours pathway.

Graduates are prepared for roles improving productivity, quality and safety across complex operations and supply networks. Typical careers include manufacturing or production engineer, data modeller, logistics specialist, plant or operations manager, process control and continuous improvement analyst, scheduling/maintenance specialist, and quality controller.
