About the course

Delivered on campus in partnership with the University of Canberra, this Bachelor of the Built Environment (Architecture) develops foundational architectural design and communication capabilities for contemporary practice. You explore design studio work alongside architecture history and theory, technology, digital production and professional ethics. Work Integrated Learning and ‘live’ projects provide industry engagement throughout the degree. This is an undergraduate architecture qualification in the built environment discipline.

Career outcome

Graduates may pursue roles supporting architectural and built environment practice, including architectural assistant and BIM modeller, and may work across design studios and multidisciplinary teams. The course also supports pathways into urban design, architectural journalism or research-related work. Becoming a registered architect typically requires further study (such as a Master of Architecture) and professional accreditation steps.
