About the course
Study chemistry and physics with a strong practical focus, building analytical, computational and experimental skills from your first year. You can major in Chemistry or Physics, take both together, or combine them with areas such as applied mathematics, IT, environmental science or engineering. You’ll learn in small classes and modern labs, applying physical science to real-world challenges in health, sustainability and technology in a Bachelor of Science in Physical Sciences.
Career outcome
Graduates can work across research and development in industry or government, education and training, and technical support roles in sectors such as mining and mineral processing. The degree also develops quantitative, analytical and critical-thinking skills valued in broader industries including finance, consulting, agriculture and manufacturing.
