About the course

Study mathematics and statistics with a strong applied focus, building analytical, computational and modelling skills for real-world problems. You’ll develop capability in quantitative methods, data interpretation and communication, with opportunities to broaden your degree by adding a second major. The course also provides pathways to a research-intensive honours year or further postgraduate study in mathematical sciences at bachelor level. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
