About the course
This Bachelor of Science (Honours) specialisation in Environmental Chemistry builds advanced research capability to investigate chemical processes in natural and impacted environments. You’ll undertake an honours research project, strengthen analytical and scientific communication skills, and explore solutions to major environmental challenges such as pollution and sustainability. It is an on-campus, full-time honours year in science at UOW. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

Graduates may work in environmental monitoring, laboratory analysis, and sustainability-focused roles across government, consulting, and industry.
