About the course
This course develops the scientific and practical foundations to design and deliver exercise programs that support health, wellbeing, injury prevention and athletic performance. You’ll study key exercise science pillars such as biomechanics, physiology, psychology, behaviour change, and motor control and learning, while building strong person-centred communication skills. This Bachelor of Science focuses on exercise and sport science practice and can pathway to postgraduate clinical exercise physiology.
Career outcome
Graduates can work across community health, sport, and performance settings to support fitness, wellbeing and preventative health programs. Typical roles include exercise scientist, strength and conditioning coach, fitness and performance consultant, health and fitness assessor, and workplace wellbeing consultant. Opportunities span sport and recreation, health services, defence, government, education, and research and development. This Bachelor of Science prepares you for careers in exercise and sport science and eligibility to apply for ESSA accreditation.

Minimum ATAR or equivalent: 70.
