About the course
This program prepares you to use exercise as a clinical tool to improve health and performance. You’ll study anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, psychology and nutrition, and learn to assess clients and prescribe exercise for prevention and management of chronic disease and injury. The degree includes 500 hours of supervised professional placement and is designed for work across health and sport settings as a Bachelor-level qualification in clinical exercise physiology.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles in clinical and community health and sport-focused environments, supporting prevention, rehabilitation and long-term condition management through evidence-based exercise. Career opportunities include exercise physiologist roles and work in cardiac and pulmonary testing, cancer and renal rehabilitation, neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, occupational rehabilitation, and case management and research. Outcomes align with a Bachelor qualification in sports and clinical exercise physiology.
