About the course
This double degree combines criminology/criminal justice with an APAC-accredited Level 1 psychology sequence. You’ll examine the causes and impacts of crime alongside human behaviour and mental processes, with topics such as forensic psychology, cybercrime, trauma, and justice policy. Community engagement and work-integrated learning opportunities build applied skills. Graduates gain interdisciplinary insight for justice-sector roles or further psychology study toward registration.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across justice, government and community services, applying psychological insight to crime and rehabilitation contexts. Career paths may include policy advisor, reintegration worker, community corrections officer, policing (state/territory/federal), immigration and border protection, and related intelligence/investigation areas. The psychology component also supports employment in broader sectors such as health, education, marketing/market research and human resources.
