About the course
This course provides a streamlined postgraduate pathway for graduates aiming to become registered psychologists, with a single application process. Across two years full-time (or approved part-time), you’ll build capability in individual casework alongside prevention, research, and evaluation at individual and system levels. The program combines coursework, research and practicum, including two final-year placements, and supports eligibility to apply for PsyBA registration after an additional supervised practice year in professional psychology.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles across health, education, community and private practice settings, using advanced assessment and intervention skills with individuals and groups. The degree supports employability in service delivery, program development and evaluation roles, and provides a pathway toward further specialist training (such as clinical psychology) after meeting additional supervised practice and registration requirements. This Masters qualification is designed for entry into professional psychology practice in Australia.
