About the course
This combined degree integrates legal study with policy, philosophy and economics to build capability in governance, law reform and understanding global challenges. You will draw on themes from law, government, ethics and economic analysis, developing the ability to evaluate policy impacts and navigate complex public issues. The Bachelor of Laws component is an approved qualification for admission to legal practice within a multidisciplinary bachelor program in Law and public policy.

Graduates can pursue pathways across legal practice and public-facing roles where law and policy intersect. Career options may include lawyer or legal adviser, policy analyst, government or public service roles, advocacy and not-for-profit leadership, and work with public policy institutes or politics. The program supports careers requiring legal skills alongside economic reasoning and ethical judgement in a combined Bachelor degree in Law and public governance.
