About the course
This degree develops an applied understanding of criminal and community justice, linking theory to practice for work with offenders and victims. Drawing on criminal justice, criminology, psychology, and social work, it focuses on assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of interventions across custodial and community settings. Designed in collaboration with Corrective Services NSW training partners, it prepares you for professional roles in corrections and community justice as a Bachelor-level qualification in social justice practice.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across justice and community services, working with offenders, victims and at-risk groups. Opportunities may include community corrections (probation/parole support), juvenile justice work, welfare and case management roles, research or policy support positions, and pathways into policing-related careers depending on further requirements. The course supports employment in government and non-government agencies across custodial, court and community contexts as a Bachelor qualification aligned to criminal and community justice practice.
