About the course
The Doctor of Counselling is a professional doctorate designed for experienced practitioners who want to strengthen and extend counselling knowledge through applied research. Delivered over an equivalent of three years full-time, it combines compulsory research training coursework with a substantial supervised research project culminating in an ~80,000-word thesis. The research is intended to bridge theory and practice and contribute to contemporary counselling scholarship at doctoral level.
