About the course
This Bachelor of Occupational Therapy prepares you for a health profession focused on enabling people to live meaningful, independent lives. You’ll study the science and theory underpinning occupational therapy and develop practical skills for assessment and intervention across a range of settings and client groups. Delivered on campus at UC’s Bruce campus, the program leads to an AQF Level 7 bachelor qualification in occupational therapy. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue occupational therapy roles across hospitals, rehabilitation and community health services, disability and aged-care providers, mental health services, and private practice. Work may involve supporting clients to build everyday living skills, return to work or study, and participate in home, school and community life. This Bachelor degree supports entry to professional practice in Occupational Therapy. Preparing graduates for nursing, allied health, and community care professional registration and graduate roles.
