About the course

This combined degree prepares you for contemporary nursing practice while building skills in public health and health promotion to improve wellbeing across individuals and communities. You study clinical nursing alongside population health, policy, advocacy and research, supported by simulation-based learning and extensive supervised placements. Graduates gain broad, career-ready capabilities for clinical and preventive health work through a Bachelor-level double degree in nursing and public health.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue roles across hospitals, community and primary care services, and public health organisations, applying both clinical nursing and preventive health skills. Career paths may include registered nursing in acute, aged, mental health or community settings, as well as health promotion or public health project and policy support roles in government, NGOs and health agencies. Outcomes align with a Bachelor-level double degree spanning nursing and population health practice.
