About the course

This honours year in Medical Sciences develops advanced research capability in biomedical and health-related disciplines. You’ll undertake focused study and research training, building skills to design and justify research approaches, analyse evidence, and communicate findings ethically to diverse audiences. The course is delivered on campus at Curtin Perth and provides a strong preparation for research pathways in biomedical science at bachelor honours level. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

What you might learn

You’ll learn to justify appropriate research approaches using biomedical, epidemiological, sociological and health services research principles. The course builds capability to design strategies to address research problems, communicate findings to specialist and community audiences, and apply national and international research standards.
