This major, offered within Curtin’s Bachelor of Science, builds mathematical and statistical capability for modelling and analysing complex systems. You’ll study areas such as operations research, statistics, numerical analysis and applied mathematical modelling, using evidence, scientific literature and modern technologies to solve real-world problems. It prepares you for applied work in science, engineering, industry and commerce at bachelor level in mathematical sciences.
